Wir laden euch zu einer Reise durch die amerikanische Musiklandschaft ein, mit Songs von Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Kris Kristofferson, Hank Williams und vielen anderen, gemischt mit einigen Originalen von Herald K und vielleicht auch ein paar irischen Melodien (denkt an Waterboys, Dubliners usw.). Vielleicht springen auch manche wilde Überraschungen aus unserem musikalischen Hut! All das im Wiener Herzen des Samstagabends, dem Cafe Prinz!

Othmar Loschy ist seit Jahrzehnten Teil der Wiener Americana- und Songwriter-Szene. Sein Wissen über Songs ist enzyklopädisch, und er weiß auch, wie man diese Songs brillant auf seiner Mundharmonika spielt.

Herald K ist ein norwegischer Singer-Songwriter, der in Wien lebt. Er hat zwei Alben veröffentlicht: "Strange Delights" und "Mythologies". Herald K beschreibt seine Musik als "Folk Noir". Die Arrangements bestehen hauptsächlich aus akustischen Instrumenten. Seine Texte sind oft von alter, manchmal sogar antiker Literatur inspiriert. In diesen Liedern findet man alles von der griechischen Mythologie bis hin zur Arthur-Sage.

We welcome you on a journey through an Americana musical landscape featuring songs by Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Kris Kristofferson, Hank Williams and many others, intermingled with some originals by Herald K, and perhaps some Irish tunes also (think Waterboys, Dubliners etc...). The odd wild surprise might just spring out of our musical bag too! All at the Viennese heart of Saturday night, Cafe Prinz!

Othmar Loschy has been part of the Viennese Americana and Songwriter scene for decades. His knowledge of songs is encyclopedic, and he also knows how to play these songs brilliantly on his harmonica.

Herald K is a Norwegian singer-songwriter based in Vienna. He has released two albums: 'Strange Delights', and 'Mythologies'. Herald K describes his music as 'Folk Noir'. His arrangements are folksy, involving mainly acoustic instruments. His lyrics are often inspired by old, sometimes ancient, literature. In these songs you can find everything from Greek mythology to Arthurian legend.
