About the song

A song about Circe, the infamous witch of antiquity, and of the Odyssey, who by magic potions turns men into swine...

A mythological figure who has been viewed through many a lens throughout the centuries. Is she coming into vogue again in popular culture, taking new postmodern shapes?

Circe is wonderfully and theatrically represented by the background- (and sometimes foreground-) vocals of Jessica Slavik. Nyckelharpa and accordion is masterfully performed by multiinstrumentalist Stephan Steiner and brilliant basslines provided by Navid Djawadi.

A song that demanded a lot of work on the production side, with it's multilayered voices and reverberations.

Video was designed and edited by Oliver Pfeiler.
